The fifth grade PBs will try to keep a daily log of class events. I don't edit what they write (though there are times I will really, really want to), except to protect privacy or feelings. Most of the pictures are taken, processed, uploaded and entered into the log by the students.

Good morning, everybody! It's Tuesday, and Mr. Roemer isn't in the classroom today.

The kids in here are setting up computers. They are done now so they are going to write their spelling words in their agenda. The kids are done with that too so they are going to do there math work sheet. More kids are walking in. Today we have to return our Friday reports and reading logs.

At P.E. Playing Steal The Bacon

Broadcasters just left and we are waiting to go to P.E. Like always, we have to write our words on our agenda. We do that because, if we lose our word sheet, we have agendas. Once we are done, we can work on our math sheet.

Since Mr. Roemer isn't here, we did not get to go to P.E early........ but we did get to watch the morning news crew! Instead of someone in or class doing the pledge, we did the pledge with the broadcasters.

Even though Mr. Roemer is gone, doesn't mean we have to act different. We have treat the substitute like she was our teacher.

Now we are going to P.E so bye!

We had a really fun time at P.E today. We played steal the bacon. It's real bacon! When Bob went out to get the bacon, someone was chasing him and he was panicking. Bob likes to eat when he is panicking , so he ate it! Just kidding. Kat and PbasianPanda were taking a lot of pictures. All of us were working hard to win. And so we won over .....100 points! Just kidding we only won by one point.

Let's appreciate that we won.

Once we got back, we got our stuff ready for interventions. Bob and Boo were leading the group. We were doing IXL work. We miss Mr. Roemer helping us with the math.

Now we are done with interventions and the substitute sent us back to our seats to do math while we are waiting for the computers. Once we have our computers, we can go on STmath. Mondays and Thursdays are when we go on STmath. Some people can help on STmath.

Bob, Karly123, Boo, and Mustard are grading papers. They are checking if people has there homework stuff. Right now I feel like we need a Bobo around the world story. Let's see what I should pick. I got it! South Korea.

Bobo Goes To South Korea

Bobo has to go on a date with Beebe in South Korea. He has to meet her there. So Bobo went to South Korea. Once Bobo got there, he was surrounded by a bunch of boys singing and dancing. Everyone was screaming '' Go Big Bang!.'' Then the spotlight went on Bobo. Bobo didn't know what to do so he performed oprah. Everyone boooed at him and laughed. Bobo was sad and ran down the stage. Once he got down, he saw Beebe laughing at him. I guess Bobo got what he wanted. He wanted to see Beebe and he did.

At least Bobo got what he wanted! Exept for the part where he was made fun of.

Now computers are away now. We had a long time of doing STmath! Katnise12 was on there for a hour and two minutes! Like always, Sgirl is doing her job. Let's give a big hand for what she does everyday.

We have to go to lunch now so bye! We have to eat in the lunch room because Mr. Roemer isn't here.

Now we are back from lunch. It was unusual for some of us because we are not used to sitting in the lunch room. While we are in there, we saw Mr. Roemer! But he had to go back early to his training again.

Bobo escaped from his house and went running around the classroom naked! And holding a cat yelling " Meow Meow Meow!" Luckily for Bobo a dog chased him around to. Our classroom had a dog a cat and a bunny. ( The bunny is extra. I don't know why I put a bunny in.)

Now we are doing Social Studies. Ms. Morris our substitute is letting people read out loud to the class. They are learning about Sherman's march. We are also learning about how General Lee surrendered because lack of food. Now we are learning about Ulysses S. Grant. He was " Head General" of the Union. He was important because he lend the Union to victory. The Union was the North side. Go North Go North.

Now we are going to Google to answer the questions on a paper the substitute gave us. Now we are on the computers and finishing the stuff on Tuesday's moodle. Mustard, PbasianPanda, Bob, Boo, and Karly123 are grading.

Computers are away and it's stack and pack time. It was a fun day. The class was good while a substitute was here! So goodbye see you tomorrow. The log was done by bob, and PbasianPanda.

Aloha! It's Wednesday, and that means we go to the public library today.

There are two kids in here and they are setting up computers. They are done now, so one of them are working on his oral japan report. He has been working really hard on that report. Mr. Roemer said '' if you want to do a oral report it is extra credit.''

Many kids are doing oral reports. More and more kids are walking in ready to learn. The kids in here are putting their reading logs on there desk for the reading log checker.

A News Broadcaster

Mr. Roemer just checked the reading logs. Everybody has one! Mr. Roemer just called Patrols and Broadcasters so bye. Patrols and broadcasting are back. The first bell just rang so that means we are getting ready for the library and music. The second bell rang. The class is getting out there recorders and lining up. Well I have to go to music so see you later. Kat is doing the log. We just got back from learning about music.

Interventions is starting and we are ding some math/ reading because you are reading the math. Interventions just left and people from are class room are coming back. We are getting ready for the Public Library. We are going to the public library so see you later. Bye. We just got back from the library. We checked out books.

We are going to a yummy lunch. Kat will talk to you later about other exciting things we are doing. Bye Polar Bear Watchers! We just got back from an awesome lunch. For lunch we had Chicken nuggets, salad, and grilled cheese.

Mr. Roemer asked if any body didn't know what some of our spelling words for the week are. These are our spelling words for the week.

Pilgrim, worship, forbid, distance, hidden, repair, dozen, destroy, carrot, entry, wisdom, crystal, respond, program, solid, salute, spinach, ashamed, blossom, neglect.

That was the last word. Some kids are helping to clean up. Puppy Love is helping Mr. Roemer out. The whole class is standing because Mr. Roemer said so. It was funny.

PBasianPanda is going to show is oral report to the class. Mr. Roemer said that at the end of PBasianPanda's oral report we have to ask questions. PBasianPanda's oral report is about his country report and his country report is about Russia.

The polar bear class is going down to the carpet to watch a short video about Peter&the Wolf. Lets take a look. I will tell you about it soon don't worry so much. Well the video is good. Maybe you should watch it some time soon.

Bobo's Dream

Last night Bobo got ready to go to bed. He ate dinner, brushed his teeth and went to bed. Bobo fell quickly asleep. As night bonded with the day light Bobo was asleep. He tried to dream happy dreams and he did. This was Bobo's dream. Bobo's dream was about Candy Land. Bobo was the Candy Land ruler. Bobo walked into his Candy castle made out of Candy canes, and sour gummy worms. Bobo was so happy. It was morning, but Bobo was still in his Candy Land Dream when all of a sudden Bobo's mother awoke him. Bobo got mad, but he knew that he could continue his Candy Land dream.

Right now we are going on Moodle. Mr. Roemer said do as much as you can on Moodle. We are getting off of computers. I think that everyone got done with there moodle work. Good morning, everybody! It's Thursday, and it's getting warmer here in Cream Corn, Florida.

Boo, and Kat are getting cups and supplies for our little eating celebration. Two people brought in there oral reports. PbasianPanda did a great job when he did his yesterday. Not that many people are here.

Gummdrop Experiment

In a few minutes Mr. Roemer is going to call patrols and broadcasters. What patrols do is go to there post and tell people to walk or open car doors.

What broadcasters do is do the morning news show. They do a great job job with the news crew. They have an A group and a B group.

Mr. Roemer just called patrols and broadcasters.

The class is standing up to go do the pledge. Big PB called Bob to line up to go to P.E. and gave Kat the camera to take pictures at P.E. then the rest of the class lined up to go so see you later alligator.

We just got back from P.E. the hole class was wonderful we had good sportsmanship and helped each other and we won the game!

We were playing steal the bacon at P.E. it is were you have two different class and each person gets a number and each person has a number of the other person on the other team.

They put a cone in the middle of the filed and they the coaches put a big foam ring and you try to get it and run to your side with out getting tagged by the other team.

Well right now Big PB just talking about some class stuff for a couple minutes and then sending intervention. Intervention just left and kids from other class or coming in we have a couple other students or coming in.

We are in groups making math problems and doing IXL and now some kids or leaving and others or coming in we are going to go to the computer lab so got to go.

The class just got back from the computer lab from doing ST math we are just reading in till lunch name tags or being passed out and we are about to go so see you later.

The class just got back from lunch the line was long so we got a five more minutes to eat. Right now the class is reading or helping cleaning the class room.

Big PB just said well i am going to start reading the Lions pawl the pbs are just siting down imaging what is happening in the story its like a little movie in there mind.

Bobo's Trip To The Beach
It was a yucky hot day the sun beaming on Bobo " My warts or getting a sun burn" said Bobo. I can not stand this sun then Bob walks up to Bobo "hey you want to go to the beach?" Where you go swim in pee water well come do you want to become Bobo toast "ok lets go" said Bobo. Bob and Bobo left they got there Bobo started to complain this sand is yuck the water smells like fish Bobo why don't you go surfing with me I don't know i will try it I guess ten minutes later I love the beach I love surfing I wish i could go every day!

Well some kids or doing there report. we are doing some experament with toothpicks and gumdrops I wonder what we are going to do?

With the gumdrops we made shapes like triangular pyramid, rectangular pyramid, rectangular prism, pentagon prism, hexagonal prism, and a octagon prism. The class had to get the edges vertices and faces.

Well right now we are going on moodle and fishing test or practicing for Friday test tomorrow. I'm Izzy2 doing the log today. Right now some kids or doing IXL or test . Kat and Bob or putting the gumdrops in a bag.

Right now the kids or logging off and cleaning up so got to go have a thankful Thursday.

Good morning, everybody! Happy Birthday to George Washington!

Some people are coming in and paying for the Tallahassee trip. Today was the other payment. If you don't have the money then you have to tell Mr. Roemer. If you don't then your probably going to get pulled off.

Tug of War at PE

Mr. Roemer just called patrols and broadcasters. So I have to go. Now the patrols are back, and we are heading to P.E. WE are back from P.E. we played tug-a-war. It was really fun playing tug-a-war. We were working as a team, and we did good.When we were playing first when they blew the whistle, we did not pull we held the rope. Then some people were in the front yelling PULL.

When they said that then everyone started to pull the rope. That showed that if we worked together then we could do good. Then we saw that it did work, and we started working as a team. We went versed two classes, we won both of them. Then P.E. was over, and we came back to class. Now we are back to class, and we are talking about how we worked as a team.

Intervention kids are leaving right now. Some of the interventions from other classes are coming to the class. We are working on the math cards that are on the screen. We are working in groups to get the answers. No one is working by their self, because they are working together.

We are working on the math that Mr. Roemer put on the board. The intervention kids are going back to their class room. The kids that left are coming back to the class room. Everyone is back in the class room, and we are about to start Friday test. Now we are starting to do our Friday tests.

Now that we are waiting for the tests, let's have a Bobo around the world stories. Hmmmmmm, what country should I pick? Let's go to Turkey!

Bobo Goes To Turkey

In America, it's almost Thanksgiving. Bobo is starving for turkey! For weeks he has been trying to buy a turkey, but the stores ran out because so many people bought it. So Bobo went home sad and hungry. Then Bobo thought, he can go online and see where turkey is. What he didn't know was that he was searching for the country Turkey! Bobo rushed and went on a airplane because he thought that a store that sells turkey was far away. Once Bobo got to Turkey, there was no Turkey there! So Bobo tried to get back home. But Bobo left his wallet and passport in the airplane. He was stuck in Turkey for a really long time! He didn't even get to have any turkey for Thanksgiving.

Most of the kids are finished now. If you are done, you can work on your math test or work on your Civil War Reports. We are having a report check today., you don't have to have much done though. But I still would work on my civil war report if I were you.

Most people are trying to finish moodle. Mr. Roemer mostly wants us on IXL. The more we do math, the more we will be smarter on math. Practice makes perfect.

Here's some fast news. Mr. Roemer is going to let us take care of the eggs next week! The eggs are coming! We are doing the eggs with Miss Oldani's class. It might come on Tuesday.

Sgirl is now passing out name tags. She is so good at her job! She actually did her job exactly one minute earlier! I never seen someone do that. It is almost time to go to lunch. Just a few more minutes on computers.

Computers are away now. We have to be silent so we can get our stuff done. It's so close to go to lunch.

We are back from lunch now. We had to sit in the lunch room for reasons. It was kind of different sitting in the lunch room. All of us had a salad, milk, and pizza or bean burritos, yum!

Now we are sitting and listening to The Lions Paw. That book is so nice. I wonder what's going to happen nice. Are they going to find Ben's dad, are they going to find the Lions Paw? Penny, Ben, and Nick are trying to find the Lions Paw. The problem is there are many, many, many shells.

During the story, we ran into a Horseshoe Crab. Most of us didn't know what it was so Mr. Roemer showed us a picture of a Horseshoe Crab. Did you know that the Horseshoe Crab isn't related to crabs, they are actually related to the spiders. If you look under the Horseshoe crab, it has eight legs like a spider.

We are still reading the book. Nick, Ben, and Penny ran into a man. They were amused that someone was there because no one lived there. He stated asking questions about them, but they had to lie to protect there run way.

Now we are on the carpet reading our science books about DNA and cells. We saw a few Brain Pop movies about it.

Now it is stack and pack time. It might be a little early, but that's because we have an assembly. We have a assembly every month.

Good morning, everybody! If they had an Acadamy Award for mornings, this one might win, even if it is a Monday.

Some kids are in here, they are setting up computers. They are done now so they are going to return their reading logs and their Friday report. More kids are walking in. Miss. McNalley came in. She was an intern in our second grade class. We are having our first Civil War report check up.

Plant adaptations

Patrols are leaving right now to go to their post. The kids that are left in the class room are writing their word down in their agenda. We are putting our word in our agenda, and putting down the dates. Mr. Roemer is check up on the civil war report. Now we are heading to art we are leaving now.

In art we had to finish up with out new project. Because we did not have school on Monday. We had to finish up so we can maybe start a project next week. Most people are done with their projects, others are not. All of the projects are really good. For our project we had to take a picture for it.

We took a picture then we colored the picture a color on the I pad. Almost everyone had a different color to color them selves. We took a picture with a prop. Everyone had a different prop that we used. We used layers for our art project. Some of us had a difficulty trying to figure out how to do the project. Others did not they tried to do it on their own.

It was pretty easy when you really put your mind to it. That is why some people just understood it today. Some people just got it today, and they are almost finished with their project. Not everyone that just started to figure out is almost done with their project. When we did get done with our projects we got to play on the I pads.

We are back from art, and the interventions are leaving. The intervention kids that come from different classes are here right now. We are working on math paper that we have to attach the answers to. Right now people are trying to figure out the answers for some of the problems.

Now interventions are leaving and they are going back to their class room. The people that left earlier are coming back from their intervention classes. Right now all of the intervention kids are back from the classes. We are heading to the computer lab right now. We are back from the computer lab, and we are finishing up with our agenda.

We are not working on our agendas any more we are heading down to lunch. We are back from lunch. A lot of people were dancing when we were at lunch in the class room. Some people are working on a dance. They have been working on it for a while now. Right now is not lunch time anymore. Right now we are back from lunch, and we are at our desks watching chicken videos.

The videos that Mr. Roemer is showing us id really cool, because we get to see baby chickens hatch from their eggs. We saw the chicken crack open their eggs it was so cool. We heard the chicken chirping it was loud. It was still cool seeing the chickens hatch. You could see them peck at the egg to get out of it.

We are down on the carpet right now we are reading our reading books. We are not reading with partners, we are reading the book all together. We are reading about hurricanes, and storms. We are learning how hurricanes are made. Mr. Roemer is talking about low pressure, and high pressure, because they are talking about it in the reading book.

We are going outside for a little bit. We are trying to figure out how some things adapted out side to wear they live. Like the flower out side, it adapted how it looked so the bees would want to land on it. Because if nothing wanted to land on it might die. Now we are back inside, and now we are working on the computers. We have to go on moodle, and do Monday stuff. That is what everyone is doing right now, is doing their Monday stuff.

We are done with the computers, and now we are doing oral reports. Bob is up now, and he is doing a report on South Korea. Bob is telling us about South Korea. Now he is done we get to ask questions about South Korea. The questions we are asking are really good. Now princess vanessa is up telling us about her country. Her country is turkey it sounds really weird like the animal.

Now she is done talking, and we are able to ask questions about turkey. We are done with the reports, and now it is time for stack and pack. We are stack and packing right now so bye.

Aloha! It's a warm Tuesday morning, but we're cool in the PB classroom.

Our chicken eggs have finally come! It takes them 21 days to hatch. If it takes them 23 days to hatch then that means their dead. The temperature has to be 101 degrees. There's 12 brown eggs and 9 green eggs. I bet they will grow up fast. Bob is bathing the eggs. Some kids in the class are watching bob bathe the eggs. Bob is finally done bathing eggs!

Checking All The Baby Eggs

Also some kids are working on their math unit work stuff. Princess vannessa123 said that some kids are on area and perimeter. After the FCAT we do the amazing and talented, rockets!

Just a few seconds ago we were watching brainpop and now right about this point we're going on moodle to learn. We are finishing our moodle that we didn't finish yesterday and today's. Mr. Roemer just sent up a few kids to see the eggs (chicken eggs) I got to go up and now everybody is up looking at the chicken eggs. Some kids are practicing for Friday tests and going on IXL or doing their spelling guesses on moodle.

This is what we're not a loud to do with the chicks we're not aloud to touch their incubator, we're also not aloud to go by them unless Mr. Roemer sais that we're aloud to. The chickens will hatch soon I hope. The chickens will grow up healthy we all know they will we all know.

Some kids are doing their second IXL and that's good news because that means you get what your doing. The kids still on the first IXL must really be concentrating on their work. I see with my own eyes that their are kids who I see writing in their journals to solve the math equation adding and subtracting fractions oh that sounds like fun.

Let me choose two countries that I would love to go to, well, of course Turkey and oh maybe Russia it looks and sounds cool there. How is everybody? You still hanging in there?

We're going to talk about growth and development now. Some kids are going to ask questions and Mr. Roemer will answer them plus answer questions that kids put in the question box. A lot of kids are asking good questions and he's answering back good. Oh wow it's almost time for lunch.

Alright well we're back from lunch and we are getting ready to read The Lion's Paw I can't wait to start reading it again. I wonder what's going to happen next in the story. I hope they find the Lion's Paw though. If they find the Lion's Paw I'll just be happy and proud at the same time for them of course. But for a little bit we will be finishing or doing our math and then we will read the The Lion's Paw, it's such a great book.

Some kids are checking on the chicks, every hour they check on the chicks and keep a log on it. Mr. Roemer is now reading The Lion's Paw and I'm logging it down right now. Where the characters are right now, it's raining there and just an hour ago or so it was raining here.

Now it's science time! We're learning about how our body system works. Like the lungs and the heart and how they help your body. We're mostly looking at the highlighted words organism, organ, organ system and last brain. We're also mostly learning about bones and stems work alike to hold you up or stay up, your mouth and leaves work alike to drink, and your skin is like bark because their hard or soft.

For the next chapter we're learning about our eyes, ears, nose, and your tongue. Did you know that the retina sends signals that travel along the nerve pathways to the brain? Well it does. There is a structure in your ear called cochlea [koh klee uh] Right now we're filling in the blanks.

Now we're in the next chapter which is the Sensory Overload about animals having senses like snails sight, Venus flytrap's touch, moth's smell, bat's sound.

We're now doing an experiment with eggs using our sense of smell, feel, touch but definitely not taste it'll be raw ew gross. That's just disgusting. Before we do anything we have to do our math worksheet. And when we're done we have to of course wash our hands after.

Alright well we're back and now we're doing oral reports we have one today and so izzy2 is up there doing Italy she did good but only got 2 questions. Italy sounds like a romantic place just like France.

Now we're going onto moodle to finish the last bit of our work. Some kids are doing a writing journal for the water cycle. It's where you learn about condensation, rain, water storage, vapor, also precipitation. And water vapor but I think it's the same thing. Then when we're done watching the video we have to write like a little diary.

There's three steps for the science journal and they are rain, water storage, vapor, and last clouds so that means that dark clouds start to come in. On moodle we are filling in the blanks for reading Giant Stingray Caught everybody read the book and now are doing a filling in the gaps on the computers.

In three minutes we're putting the the computers away. So that means that everybody has to finish their work.

Good morning, everybody! It's Wednesday, a short day and our public library day.

Right now the kids or leaving for broadcasting and potrals and the rest of us are reading or getting reading log out or reading a book a lot of kids left there is only a few kids left it vary quite well first bell just rang and potrals or coming back in and some kids or coming in. Well we are doing the pledge and now the bell just rang so we are leaving for music soon. About all the kids or here and getting stuff out for the library now we are lining up for music so got to go. Katnise12 here doing the log right now.

Working At The Library

We are back from music. At music we did warm ups and announcements. There were bad and good news. The bad was that Ms. Schiender forgot to give us this paper that we did last marking period. The goods news is that if we got a bad grade it would not matter because it is not the first marking period is over. We had to fill in the letters and notes to two of our recorder music. After, we finished the first page we could do this song by yourself. If you know it you will get a prize. We did new rhythme. One was the recorder rythme and what singers use. We had a question about Scott Joplin. We left after that.

Now is intervention. Kids in intervention are being dismiss. The interventions are coming in. Here are the kids in interventions in here one from Ms.Delaney, five from Ms. harts, and 11 from are class. We are doing circle math. We have five groups. The group that has the most circles cover gets seven or six M&M's. Mr. Big PB is showing us the answer. The winner is ...... EVERYBODY! yay! We all get six M&M's. We all did a good job. Now we are going to figure the answer out to scale problem. All the interventions left. People are coming back.

See you! We will be going to the public library. We came back from the public library. At the public library we worked on our civil war report. My topic is about major battles of the civil. We had a hour or so to work on it. We had ten more minutes work on are report. We left the library and went back to the class.

It is lunch time. Yay! see you after lunch. We had a choice of meat dippers in rice and zilita stuff. We had a milk, a juice, and a farmers salad. Some kids on the back of the line got broccoli. We ate our lunch when we got back. Some kids ate fast to play. We had to clean up afterwards. One table was sticky. Uh no it is turning into a monster, it is eating every thing expect for me and the computer I am using. Just kidding with you.

We are doing math. We are doing convert graphs to input/output. Most kids get this. It is easy ,but not to easy. We have to find a pattern for the input/output table. Now we are doing write linear function. The first one was really easy. Now we are getting this a little bit. To figure this you got to find the rule by reading the top of the problem. Big Pb said "I am impress." Graphs to express function tables. We only did one problem out of it.

Moodle Time! Yay! Now we have to finish the Monday and Tuesday work, if we did not finish it. We have this quick write that explains the water cycle. We have to write it though.We have a fish close where we have to write in the words that make sense. It is hard for first triers. We still have to do the IXL on moodle boodle.

Bobo's trips to Jamaica

Bobo wanted to find a good vocation. He found Jamaica. He loved it there. One day he went into the rain forest and saw a tiger he thought it was a cat. He petted it and the tiger pounced on him and ate his hair. He never went to Jamaica again. He went back to China he wanted to go on Google but, he could not. He was so mad he threw a bomb at the capital, Beijing. He was kicked out of China. He stayed in Big Pb's classroom forever

Aloha, all y'all! It's a cooler Thursday. I think March is going to come in like a lion around here.

Only some kids are in here. If you came in early you can get three M&M's. We are all doing our math. It has subtracting fractions, find the area, and give the ordered pairs for each point.

Mr. Roemer is playing music, like always. The gate hasn't opened yet. It's about to in two minutes. The gate has opened and the only kid that wasn't here early and is here is..... Katnise12!

Petting The Chickens

The eggs have been flipped. Boo, and bob took the temperature. It was not that high it was at 98. Mr. Roemer called patrols and broadcasters. So bye i'm a patrol captain. And the person doing the log is bob.

Patrols are back and we just did the pledge. We saw two possums outside of our classroom. Mr. Roemer and Mrs. Oldani were trying to catch them. We had to capture them. We are going to P.E bye. We are back from P.E.

At P.E we first ran four laps. We didn't go out early because of our possum thing going on. Then we played " Flag Tag." Flag tag is a game where everybody gets a flag and puts it in there pocket. When the coaches blow the whistle everybody starts running around and pulling there flags and getting as much as they can. And that's it.

We are doing interventions. We are doing scale graphs. It's were you have to draw a graph, but it has like two inches = one feet. It was pretty hard.

Now we are talking about the Opossums. There were two Opossums outside. And they were, well lets just say they were chilling. So Mr. Roemer and Mrs. Oldani had to capture them. Opossums have sharp teeth and sharp claws. So you have to wear gloves to capture them.

We are going to Mrs. Oldani's room to look at the hens, and roosters. There are no baby chicks. We have eggs, but not chicks. They are going to hatch in 20 days. So we'll be right back. We are back. When we were there we saw Bubbles. She was a chicken from last year. She looks weird because she is another type of hen. Last year they thought that she was going to die because they didn't know what she was. She has bald spots. And they thought she was going to die.

Now we are back and we are on moodle. We have to do two writings and finish up on moodle. One of the writings have smilies and metaphors. Well we have to write with those two. A smilile is comparing a word with saying as or like. A metaphor is were you a word, but without saying as or like. I'm going to do my moodle work now so goodbye for now.

I'm back! We are going to lunch now so bye. I'm back now! We are reading until Mr. Roemer is done eating and looking at his computer. He does stuff on his computer when he's eating it's just something he does.

Now i'm going to write a story about Bobo going to Antarctica. I hope you enjoy it.

Bobo Goes To Antarctica

One day Bobo got up on a summers day. He said in a grumpy old mans voice " It's to hot i'm going on a vacation to Antarctica were it's cold." After that he started to pack. When he was done he went flying to the airport. With his flying powers! He missed his flight, and that was the last one. So he had to fly there. It took him a week to get there because he lived in Hollywood, California. Another reason is that he got lost, a couple of times.

When he got there in shorts, and a regular shirt on. He was freezing. A magic fairy came up to him and said " You shouldn't have wore a regular shirt, and shorts. I bet right now your freezing!" He said " I am! Now leave me alone!" She didn't leave so he just ate him. He thought it was to cold so he froze to death and died.

Wasn't that a good story. It was good, but not at the end. That's what I saw going for.

Catching the Possum!

Mr. Roemer is reading " Lions Paw." When Mr. Roemer finished last time a guy found him. And they explained him like a fish face. So they ended up when them caught. So the guy got a number and he is going to match it with the boat. When he does that he's going to know there the orphans that escaped. Mr. Roemer finish with the dingy upside down on maine cabin skylight.

He didn't read that much today. Mr. Roemer said that not that many people know about it. Mr. Roemer called the class down to do the oral reports. The people that did an oral report is.... Katnise12, and mustard. They did a fantastic job.

Next we did science. We talked about skin. Mr. Roemer said we can trick kids by saying your epidermis is showing. Epidermis is your skin.

Now we are doing moodle. We have to finish up so i'll see you later. We are done with moodle and putting the computers away.

It's stack and pack time. We have a skating party. So bye see you tomorrow.

Good morning, everybody! March is definitely roaring in here, with some of the coolest temperatures we've had this winter.

It's a bone shivering day in the PB classroom. Well maybe bone shivering. You choose. Bob, and Princess vannes a 123 are helping Mr. Roemer. Kat is your logger right now. Computer people already set up computers for the day. Some people are on the computers or doing there written math test Mr. Roemer gave everybody.

Yesterday we had our Skating Party. It was a blast! Only four people from the Polar Bear class room were their. Those people were Kat, Mustard, Warrior, Princess vannessa 123 ( with her sister.)

Broadcasting and Patrols are about to leave. Mr. Roemer is on his hall duty. Oh No! Mr. Roemer is out in the hall jumping around saying " Yayyyy!" Just kidding.

Spreading Mulch

People are passing out papers. Well Patrols and Broad casting are about to leave. Kat ( That's me) is a patrol so I have to go. Bye everybody. Patrols and Broadcasting just got back. We are getting ready for P.E. We had free time at P.E after we ran our four laps.

Right now we are having interventions. We are doing math/reading interventions. Interventions are over and Mr. Roemer is telling us what we have to do on moodle. Mr. Roemer said that moodle might take the whole day. After moodle we are going to do our Civil War report. Everybody is going to there seats and the computer people are passing out computers to the people who are done with there math.

People are getting their minds into math. They are trying to find the answers and hoping just hoping that they get the answer right. Mr. Roemer was trying to find his glasses. Silly him they were by his computer the whole time. We had the same math sheet as yesterday, but today it's with different questions and that means different answers.

Sorry about that. We had some technical difficulties.

We are off on our way to lunch so see you later. Bye. Well we just came back from a yummy lunch. Since today is Friday its Chorus practice. Chorus just left so now people are on computers. Puppy love is helpping Mr. Roemer out with something.

Earlyer before lunch we got to spread out some mulch at our garden. Our garden is right behind our Polar Bear back door.

Puppy love is passing out stuff that will go home with the little Polar Bears. Puppy love is still helpping Mr. Roemer.

Chorus just got back. People are helpping Mr. Roemer pick up some paper off of the floor. Now we are getting out our sience and social studies books and going down to the carpet. We are doing growth and developement before sience and social studies. We are now reading our sience book on page 354. We are talking about our bone and muscles. Right now Anandy is reading the first paragraph. PBasianPanda is reading our second paragraph.

The second paragraph is about joints. Mr. Roemer is talking about all diffrent kinds of joints. One of the joints that we are talking about is swivle joint. The best swivle joint in the world on a human is your shoulder.

We are back at our desk doing page 349 right now in our sience book. Mr. Roemer will give us our social studies assignment. Mr. Roemer just handed us our math test from earlyer today. Mr. Roemer just said that we have about ten more minutes to do sience assignment. Next up social studies assignment.

We now only have five minutes left. People are trying to finish up their work before we have to put it away or turn it in. I think that we would have to turn it in.

We have to stop writting. Mr. Roemer is looking at everyones and giving them a grade. He is done looking at them. We no have to go in our social studies book. We have to read pages 472-487. We are aloud to sit any where in the room and read as long as we are quite.

Mr. Roemer said that we would have to know the answers to the questions on the back. Right now kids are finishing up moodle. Computer people are passing out computers making sure everybody has one.

The internet came back on so I can finish up the log. I hope it doesn't go off again. I got to use Mr. Roemer's tablet because of the internet. Mr. Roemer said that we need to get as mu ch as we can done. Some people are just now starting moodle.

Bobo's Chicken Day

The sun was blinding Bobo. It was so big and bright. Bobo was on his way to school when all of a sudden he forgot to get a baby chicken because today was Chicken day at school. On his way to school Bobo stopped at the pet shop and bought a little yellow baby chicken.

When Bobo got out of the pet shop he fell in love with the baby chicken. Bobo named the baby chicken Mr. Roemer after his favorite teacher and his only fifth grade teacher, Mr. Roemer. When Bobo got to school and showed the baby chicken to everybody they loved him. Soon Bobo and Mr. Roemer ( the baby chicken) were popular.

We are going to be getting off of moodle and going home in five minutes. We are starting to clean up.
